Without a doubt, the area stretching from Cairns north to the reefs around beautiful Lizard Island would be the finest fishing region in the world. The Black Marlin of the Pacific Ocean migrate to this 240km section of the Great Barrier Reef annually to spawn. Beginning with the arrival of the first fish in early September, the marlin season extends through till late December. During the season Inya Dreams will be found on the outer edge of the reef in the Coral Sea. This quest is for the biggest and most powerful of all game fish - the legendary Black Marlin.
In summer (December through to April), the waters off Port Stephens provide even the most hardened angler an adrenalin rush! Our marlin population consists of Black, Striped, Blue and Short-billed Spearfish. With the finest fishing equipment available, we specialise in trolling lures and baits or fishing live baits for this impressive array of speedsters.

Captain Brian Felton has been fishing the Great Barrier Reef and the East Coast of Australia since 1975 and recognised as one of the top marlin and sportfishing captains. With many credits to his name, Brian has proven his fishing ability time and time again and is backed by Warick (Wazza) Anderson who has over 20 years experience on the deck …our crew.
